THESE INSTRUCTIONS DISCUSS OUR GENERAL AFTERCARE GOLDEN RULES. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HEALING OF YOUR TATTOO OR PIERCING, DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL US OR STOP BY THE SHOP! GOOGLE IS A SCARY PLACE, WE CAN HELP YOU.

TATTOO AFTERCARE
-
Remove bandage under warm running water after 3 to 5 days.
-
Gently wash your tattoo with unscented soap once the bandage is removed. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
-
Wash the tattoo daily. Keep clean and dry.
-
Water-based unscented lotion can be used on the tattoo once it begins to feel itchy and/or dry.
-
DO NOT soak or submerge the tattoo in water (ex. a bath, a pool) for 3 to 4 weeks.
-
DO NOT scratch a fresh tattoo. If the tattoo is flaking or peeling, do not remove scabs or flakes; let them fall off on their own.
-
DO NOT use Vaseline, oils, or oil based moisturizers on a fresh tattoo.

PIERCING AFTERCARE
-
Clean your piercing once or twice a day, as needed, by letting warm water run over the piercing. Sterile saline solution may also be used.
-
Pat the piercing dry with a clean paper towel. Do not swipe at it or leave it wet.
-
Healing time for most piercings is 3 to 6 months (up to a year).
-
If the piercing is irritated, soak a clean paper towel in hot (but not burning hot) water, and gently compress the piercing for 5 to 10 mins. Do this daily until irritation subsides.
-
DO NOT touch, play with, twist or rotate your piercing.
-
DO NOT soak or submerge your piercing in water (ex. a bath, a pool) for at least 2 months.
-
DO NOT put alcohol, crushed aspirin, teabags, or other home remedies on a fresh piercing.
